Mark's Work Wearhouse was the place to go for quality clothing when I was younger. Now it's the place to go for expensive, made-in-China clothing as an older adult. Some of the pricier stuff is good. Some. Like the high-end Helly Hansen. The lower end H/H isn't that great.
Same for the stuff from Columbia. Columbia was a great company some years back, but these days you're mostly paying for a name. The name is important because the number one giveaway with TEMU clothing is that the brandnames all look like they were decided haphazardly using Boggle dice. So you're literally paying for a name in the sense that it doesn't sound too weird.
That being said, I've got an Evil Wolf jacket from TEMU that only cost $35 shipped and it's better than a comparable $500 H/H item from Mark's. The Evil Wolf jacket even has active cooling via some oddly placed pit zips, which the H/H ski jacket doesn't have at all.
I don't expect this store to be a going concern in another ten years.
