You can't see it in a bad, halftone, thermal paper print from a children's camera, but it's snowing in this photo. A lot. As in I got up and started shoveling at 5:00 am and finally quit at 8:30 am to start work. Then I had to keep going out to shovel every hour or so to keep it from piling too high.
At lunch I went out and shoveled out a couple of seniors on the Snow Angels list. At 5:30 pm I headed back out with a shovel and went until 8:00 pm. I would have gone longer, but I managed to snap my favourite shovel bucket in half on some hidden ice and I also gave myself the worst atrial fibrillation episdoe I have had in a couple of years. I could barely stand and my vision was blown to white around the outside, so I headed home. Yesterday was definitely a snow day.
So much for March almost being the start of spring.
