Strathmore High School was completed in 2001. It's only a quarter century old, but the ugly architectural choices make it look older. I mean, who picked the ugly flappy wing roof over the front doors? Really? The 70s are dead and people need to stop exhuming the grave. Ugh.
The one thing the school has going for it is that it connects to the Strathmore Civic Centre via its atrium. The Civic Centre has more gyms AND it has a swimming pool, which is cool. And also rhymes in case anyone is keeping score. I kind of wish that my daughter had been able to attend a school with an attached pool as she likes swimming. That's a win.
