When I was a kid we joked that FORD stood for Found On Road Dead. While that definitely described my 1972 Ford Gran Torino, which had ... issues ... it's not fair to apply it to all of their products. This is embossed into the fender of a 1952 tractor and the damn thing was still running like a top before John declined and went into the lodge.
The truth is that, charge the battery, change the oil, and put in some fresh fuel, damn thing will probably start right away and continue to run fine for another fifty years. They sure don't build like that anymore.
